Heather has worked for years integrating hands-on projects in the textile arts with technology as an educator, designer, and business owner.  

Previous Experience/Career Highlights:

In her previous role as an Implementation and Education Specialist for a software development company, she worked to ensure customer-centric product development and client success, bringing holistic thinking, attention to design detail, and quality assurance to projects and products. 

She’s found joy teaching children and adults, with an attitude of lifelong inquisitiveness, connection, and community-building. She believes that if we can dream it, we can create it.

  • Lesley University, Cambridge, MA – Masters in Education
  • Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, MA – Bachelor of Fine Arts
  • Permaculture Design Certification

Other Interests and/or Affiliations:

Heather is a mother, daughter, expert seamstress, and student of ecological and financial permaculture. Her favorite questions begin with “What if…” In her free time she enjoys reading, documentaries, and cultivating a vibrant homestead with her family in the hills of Western Massachusetts.
