As a Senior Wealth Advisor with many years of investment experience, I have helped my clients to achieve their goal for growth and income with moderate risk. To accomplish this, I look for well-established companies with proven track records. I utilize numerous resources, which include some of Wall Street’s most highly regarded analysts, plus I do extensive macro and industry research to identify meaningful shifts in trends.
Previous Experience/Career Highlights:
- Began career in a three-year banking program at Irving Trust Company (Bank of New York).
- Joined White Weld in the brokerage division as a registered representative and then joined Coffin & Burr.
- Afterwards, Mr. Thompson joined Tucker Anthony & R. L. Day in 1966, and became a general partner in 1968, where he stayed until1988.
- Shortly afterwards, Mr. Thompson started his own firm, Cobalt Asset Management where he stayed until 1995 when it became a part of H.G. Wellington.

- Washington and Lee University, BS – Commerce
- FINRA Licenses: Series 1, 4 (Options Principal), 40 (Registered Principal), 63, 65, PC-Amex Put and Call Exam, and SIE.
Other Interests and/or affiliations:
Besides enjoying my family and my corgi, I enjoy tennis, golf, fly-fishing, and wing shooting. However, my greatest passion is for “Court Tennis”, the “Original Tennis”.
